FAQs

HOW TO OBTAIN A QUOTATION?

We have a team available 24 hours a day, all year round. We receive your quotation requests at our e-mail: [email protected] and in less than 10 minutes our team will send you the requested quotation.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE AIRCRAFT TO TAKE OFF ONCE I ACCEPT THE QUOTATION?

Under normal conditions, 2 hours after accepting the quotation, our staff will be ready to take off at the airport.

IS A GROUND AMBULANCE INCLUDED?

All our transfers include ground ambulances in Buenos Aires, with MD FLY’s own fleet. The same doctors who assist the patient on the aircraft will be the ones who escort him/her to the destination hospital.

WHO TRAVELS WITH THE PATIENT ON THE AIRCRAFT?

In every air transfer there will be a specialized aeromedical evacuation doctor and a nurse on board. If needed, a respiratory therapist may also escort the patient.

HOW IS A SANITARY FLIGHT COORDINATED?

Once the quotation has been confirmed, our medical director will contact the treating doctor and take all necessary measures to carry out said transfer.

ARE SANITARY FLIGHTS ONLY PERFORMED IN A PRIVATE AIRCRAFT?

No. There are some cases where the patient is medically stable and can travel on a commercial flight, but airlines do not allow them to board due to legal issues. In these cases, they request a doctor responsible for the patient to be present during the flight. ln MD FLY we have our own travel agency that coordinates acceptance of the patient with the airline, ground transfers, hotels and other important details for the patient’s return home.

DO YOU OWN THE AIRCRAFT FLEET OR ARE THEY HIRED?

We have our own fleet and air operator certificate.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

Since we have been doing what we love for so many years, we have the necessary experience to help our customers choose the best alternative for repatriation depending on the patient’s medical condition.

We also have medical assistance services in Buenos Aires and the rest of Argentina.
